Waterpark Vacation

Kory and I took a few days off work and decided to take Emily on a little family vacation. We left on Thursday morning for the Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI. It's a waterpark resort so we knew she'd have a great time. We all loved it!

Daddy and Em heading up to the waterslide

The outside waterslides. Em and Kory went down these like 1,000 times!

Front view of the resort

It was so hard to get a picture of them because my finger isn't fast enough :)

Here's Em holding her breath as she comes off the bottom of the slide

Hi mommy!!

Swimming like a fish!

Standing in the water

Mommy and Emme

Waiting for Daddy to come down the indoor slides. They wouldn't let Em go because she wasn't 42" yet!!!

We love our drinks! Mommy's was a mango margarita and Em's was a blue raspberry slushie :)

My handsome husband...no really I just had to take a picture of the bedspreads in the hotel and he happened to be sitting there :) We have the same one on our bed at home. Should I be embarassed????

Money for the arcade!!!

Attempting to play basketball...not good at all :( Sorry G!

Never seen an arcade where the prizes come out of a machine. Kinda weird, but she didn't care!

Happy girl!

Jumping and then swimming to mommy

Love this video of Emily. This child was not able to even sort of swim at the beginning of the summer. She has worked incredibly hard to be able to swim like a big girl. Mommy and Daddy are sooooo proud of you buggie!!!!!

Our First Camping Trip!!

Last weekend, our neighbors invited us to  go camping with them in their fancy schmancy camper. Em has been dying to go so it was a perfect opportunity. Thank you so much to Kathy, Andy and the boys (Logan, Brayton & Devon) for allowing us to tag along. We had a blast!!!!!

Here's Andy holding a flashlight out at the campfire so Emily can color. He spoiled her rotten all weekend...she loved every minute of it :)

Brushing her teeth
Kathy, Andy and the boys even have ATV's so we all went riding together. Em loved it and she was able to ride 50 miles with us. I couldn't believe she did so well. She bounced around between Daddy's and Andy's four-wheeler. She even rode on mine and Kathy's for just a bit. It was super dusty, but other than that it was a perfect day for a ride.

Emily with her buddy, Logan - she ADORES him!

My dirty girl...she isn't even dirty yet tho...just wait!

The crew! Emily & Logan, Kory, Brayton, Devon, Kathy & Andy - we were going inside for lunch

Me and Kathy - one of my best friends in the entire world!!!

Emily being a big girl with all the boys waiting on lunch

Yes - this is what my baby girl looked like after 50 miles of ATVing - is she a trooper or what???

This was after she "fixed" her hair

We stopped at a gas station on the way back to the campsite and she got a ring pop. She totally looks like she has eye liner on in this picture but it is all dirt! We used wet wipes on our hands/faces.

Just loved the sand up there! And yes those are kitchen items thanks to Miss Kathy :) I told you she was spoiled!!

Burying her feet

Love this pic! We had so much fun!!

The Weisensel family!!!

Em in her camping bunk. She slept in the back room with all the boys. They each had a bunk bed.
Thanks again for having us Kathy & Andy!!! Love you guys!

Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival Parade

We attended our 3rd annual Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival Parade...this year it was even more fun because Emily's cousins Mikaiya and Braenna and her friend Max all joined us!

Love this one of Braenna saying "cheese" with her daddy

Here are the girls waiting for the parade to start. It was a little sunny that day :)

Waupun Truck Show 2012

Ok. This pictures has absolutely nothing to do with the truck show - but check out this rock star! Emily was playing "fashion show" and this was one of her outfits. Just love it!

We went to the truck show both Fri and Sat this year. The weather was perfect so we had a great time. On Friday night we went to the light show parade. I didn't take any pictures that night - but we had a great time. Bonnie & Tom even joined us for their first truck show parade ever! Em lasted about 35-40 minutes before she was ready to head out. That's pretty good considering the parade didn't even start until 9pm, plus it was super duper loud with all the trucks blowing their horns.

Then on Saturday morning, the 3 of us went back up to the show.

Here is Em checking out the "toy" trucks. I say toy lightly because each one of these trucks were like $80.

For the first time they had an arts/crafts area at the truck show. Em did about 4 different activities and loved every minute of it! Here she is showing you her sand art that she made.

This was another project. While Daddy walked around in the show, Em and I did art :) Worked out perfect.

Here is buggy all ready for the day parade to start!

Em took this picture of us, and I thought it was really cute!

We had a great time at the show this year. No mosquitos and the heat was bearable! Yay. Emily and I are trying to convince Kory to enter the show next year. We will see....
