Welcome to the World Maddox!!!

Our sweet little nephew was born into this world via c-section on Monday, January 9th. He was 6lbs 15oz and 18.5" long. He is absolutely perfect!!!

 We got to go to the hospital on Tuesday after work and Emily was sooo excited! She had never been to the hospital (that she remembers!) so she asked about 1,000 questions on the way there. I tried to prepare her the best I could. We only stayed for a little while, but it was great to spend some time with Kacey & new baby Maddox.

 On Sunday, Kory got to meet his new nephew. He had a good time holding the little sweetie. We were over there for 2 hours and Maddox was awake the entire time! Pretty good for only being 6 days old. He is the best baby!!!!

Happy New Years Eve!!!

For NYE this year we went to the annual party at the Mounds Country Club in Fort Atkinson. Our friend is the GM at the club and he throws the best parties! We go every year for New Years and Halloween.

We were lucky enough to have Kory's mom and step-dad babysit Miss Em for us. So we got ready at their house. We went with our very good friends, Kathy & Andy (they also happen to be our neighbors!!).

We had a great time as always. We came back to Bonnie & Tom's that night and got to have a nice hot tub adventure before going to bed. Thanks to Kathy & Andy for coming with us and thanks also to Matt & Brenda for inviting us.....oh and Kory probably wouldn't be happy with me if I didn't tell you about the dinner. It's. to. die. for. YUM! Crab legs, prime rib, pork roast, chicken marsala...all you can eat! Kory ate his money's worth...and mine :)

We got Emily's 4 year pictures taken by Krista at Vintage Pear Photography. Emily has had her pictures taken by Krista since she was 6 months old. She does an amazing job! She always manages to capture Emily's huge personality and that is what I love about our pictures!!!

Everyone has been telling me for a while now how much Emily and Kory look alike...I never realized it until I saw this picture....OMG! She is a spitting image of her Daddy :)
