Getting ready for Christmas and Em's dance recital

Emily went to visit Santa this week at the mall! She told him what she wanted and had a good time. She's always such a good girl with Santa!

We also decorated our house for Christmas the other weekend. Emily was such a big help. Kory and I carried the tree up stairs and set it up and she literally put every ornament on herself and we didn't have to help at all. She did a beautiful job!

Emily and Daddy putting the angel on the tree top

The nativity scene that we always let Emily keep in her room. She set it up all by herself!

Emily also had her 1st ever hip hop dance recital. She was super nervous so we didn't invite anyone else. It was just mommy & daddy watching her (along with the loads of other parents and family members!). She did fantastic!!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2013

We had a great time at Thanksgiving with both of our families. We were so blessed to be able to spend time with so much of our family this year. For Kory's family, it was the first Thanksgiving without Grandpa here so it was sad at times, but we all kept saying that Grandpa wouldn't want us to be sad so then someone would say something funny and cheer everyone up.

Daddy fell asleep and Emily used his belly as a rainbow loom table. It was hysterical. He never even woke up!

Kacey looooves Tony with a 'stache!

Emily and Maddox took a bath!!

Papa Tom has taught Emily to rub his feet (EWE!!) and he pays her $1. She loves doing it and earning the cold hard cash!

It was also Kacey & Tony's 10th wedding anniversary so Kacey decided to try on her wedding dress. Of course it fit absolutely perfect and she looked gorgeous.

We were so so so happy to have Great Grandma with us. She was sad missing grandpa but hopefully all the chaos of the kids helped to make her Thanksgiving somewhat happy

Me and Kacey!

Em snapped this pic on our camera. We took lots of pics with Grandma and I think someone else has the "real" ones.

Bonnie stayed home with all the kiddos and us adults went out. Uncle Si (aka Tom) offered to be our designated driver. We had the best time ever...and we were home by 11pm so that makes it even better :)

First tooth and other randoms!

Emily had a loose tooth for several weeks and it finally fell out on November 5th! We were at the kitchen remodel place and all of I sudden I hear her saying something and I look over and she had pulled her tooth right out! She was sooooo excited. The people were so nice and put it in an envelope for us. We got home and she unfortunately took it out of the envelope to show her teddy bear...yes her teddy bear...and she dropped it!!!! We still have not found that silly tooth yet! Oh well. The tooth fairy still came :)

We have had lots of other random fun things in November so I thought I'd post them all below!!!

Emily with Madi & Maya. They were playing dress up and came out in mustaches. We always have a great time when Shelly, Jason & the girls come over!!!

This was mis-match day at school! Although it could happen on pretty much any day in our household :)

I had about 15 more selifes but thought I'd save you all from looking at each and every one. LOL!

Emily's teacher was looking for some beanie babies to use for reading connections in her classroom and I posted it on my FB page asking for help. We had a friend of a friend contact me with an entire tote of beanie babies! We happily donated them to Mrs. Steeger's class. YAY!

Emily is really into those rainbow loom bracelets. Here she is sorting all her rubber bands by color

Emily is now a Daisy - it's basically the entry level of girl scouts. She is loving it so far!!!

Kalahari Trip!!

Cori and Jeff were smart enough to buy a special at the Kalahari that included a 2 bedroom suite room and 6 waterpark bracelets + 6 indoor theme park bracelets!!! Luckily there is only 4 of them :) So they invited me and Em to join them. We didn't know about it until the week of - so it was a super fun spontaneous surprise. We had a blast!!!!
